Suffer quietly
In the world you built
There’s a pain in the morning
Like you’ve never felt
Suffer now
Or you’ll shame us both
There’s a word in the sentence
You never wrote
Down to the well you came
It’s not what you sell you said
I don’t want to lie to you this way
It’s what you can build
Through ironclad will
It’s not what you own
And yet there’s a glow
Suffer quietly
Says a stranger’s voice
I left in the morning
I had no choice
Suffer here
In the crowded dawn
Real life survival
Is to lie alone
Down to the well you came
It’s not what you sell you said
I don’t want to lie to you this way
It’s what you can build
Through ironclad will
There’s nothing you own
And yet there’s a glow

Some may know Farmer from his time under the Monarch Mtn name. Happy to see Western Vinyl has picked up on what a talent this guy is. 'Still No Mother' delivers such a subtle venom, one that works its way into the bloodstream long after the music has ended. Farmer's music impacts in much the same way as that of Damien Jurado or Bill Callahan. The songs seem as if they've been on rotation for many years, like visiting an old friend, instantly familiar and welcoming. Lost Tribe Sound
Subtle psychedelia for track 1. Retro qualities for track 2. It's like listening to unknown 45s your parents had on the record player you had as a kid. Custom Made In 1968
