i thought it was a dream, watching you slip
surrounded by the water, drinking all night since
i didn't know the way
backwards into nightfall
i didn't know the way
a trick of the light
i thought it was a dream, watching you cope with me
but since i was forgotten, well it feels alright
see, I'm liking the way you move
(i move quietly too)
to cities of gold & iron
a trick of the light

Some may know Farmer from his time under the Monarch Mtn name. Happy to see Western Vinyl has picked up on what a talent this guy is. 'Still No Mother' delivers such a subtle venom, one that works its way into the bloodstream long after the music has ended. Farmer's music impacts in much the same way as that of Damien Jurado or Bill Callahan. The songs seem as if they've been on rotation for many years, like visiting an old friend, instantly familiar and welcoming. Lost Tribe Sound

Subtle psychedelia for track 1. Retro qualities for track 2. It's like listening to unknown 45s your parents had on the record player you had as a kid. Custom Made In 1968
